After the last cross-country season the buzz around the MENTOR 4 continues. This is clear from the results of the XC contests where our cross-country intermediates are at the top of the rankings.

High performance, light and a master at turning: the ION 4 has a better glide than the MENTOR 3. From 3.95 kg (XXS) it is feather light and thanks to its smart brakes, it offers impressive handling and climb performance.
The pilot from east Tyrol took off from the Grente on the 19th April 2015 to fly a 241.56km FAI triangle with his TRITON 2. The 39-year-old forestry worker completed the flight in 10 hours 21 minutes, with an average speed of 23.45 km/h and won the TRITON XC Challenge. His price: a brand new NOVA SOMNIUM!
The 44-year-old architect won the Mentor Challenge flying a MENTOR 3 light. On the 7th August, after nearly ten hours in the air, he completed an impressive 254.44km FAI triangle in the canton of Valais. His price: a brand new NOVA SOMNIUM!
On the 5th June 2015, the 33-year-old product manager from Austria took off from the Stubnerkogel on his ION 3. Nine hours and 26 minutes later he had completed a 171.03 km FAI triangle. His price: a brand new NOVA SOMNIUM!
The inaugural round of the NOVA XC Challenge, which is an internal brand cross-country competition, took place during the 2014/15 season. With a number of good flights, Stephanie "Stibä" Boselli secured the win in the PRION class. Her prize: a brand new NOVA SOMNIUM!
Cross-country ace Bernhard Peßl (27) has been catapulted to the top of the XContest with his flights in Quixadá on his MENTOR 4 and ION 4 RC (Release Candidate). Contrary to his expectations and what alpine pilots generally imagine, "Quixadá is turbulent, complicated and anything but simple to fly" said the Austrian.
