Quality in development

Quality is an all encompassing concept for us – it starts with good ideas, is implemented with innovative tools and is constantly monitored. We are, and always have been, leaders in the use of independent and comprehensive software solutions for the development of paragliders; when selecting material we do not rely on the sales brochure of the suppliers but test cloth and lines in our internally developed test procedures and we developed the Quality Assurance Database (QAD) for the checking and servicing of gliders. With this information we can deduce how paragliders change under load and these insights contribute to future glider development.

Whoever flies a NOVA wing should know what to expect. That is why our test pilots do more than just the certification relevant manoeuvres with our gliders. We test our wings with a variety of harnesses and in different weather conditions. We go cross-country with prototypes and even in the roughest conditions we keep our foot on the speedbar so that we can get a complete picture of the behaviour of the wing in real conditions. If the wing isn’t stable when fully accelerated, then the development hasn’t been completed. We aim to provide our customers with genuine products. Honesty is the basis for long-term trust.
